Yangon – Warm and Sunny
In Yangon, the weather is warmer than in January. The highest temperature is 43°C (109°F) which is unbearably hot. The lowest temperature is about 22°C (72°F) which is cool enough. February is one of the best times to travel to Yangon.
You'll enjoy a visit to Kandawyi Park, one of two major parks in Yangon. You can stroll around to sense the vitality of local people, enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the stunning sunset.
Exploring the largest lake in the city, Inya Lake, is a must. It's recommended to take a boat-ride on the lake to enjoy the tranquility. You can wander alongside the river while watching the breathtaking sunset.
Clothing: T-shirt and shorts are enough for most of the time. Also bring sunglasses and hat.
Mandalay – Bright and Dry
In February, the average temperature in Mandalay is around 30°C (86°F). The highest day temperature is around 41°C (106°F) and the lowest 19°C (66°F). February is the least rainy month of the year, when rainfall is negligible. Almost all days in February are sunny.
It's recommended to attend the Mahamuni Pagoda Festival, at one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Myanmar. You can listen to a Buddhist philosophical text and enjoy local traditional dance and musical performances.

Bagan – Comfortable and Dry
February is relatively dry with almost no rainfall. The average day temperature is around 37°C (99°F) and will drop to 24°C (75°F) at night. You will feel hot during the day and cool at night. February is suitable for outdoor activities.
As the "Temple Town", Bagan has over 2,000 Buddhist temples, and the temples are the most important attractions for tourists. Shwesandaw Pagoda is known as the "sunset temple". You can climb to the top and enjoy the fabulous sunset. You can also appreciate the magnificent frescoes and architecture at Ananda Temple.
Exciting outdoor activities include a hot-air balloon trip, a carriage trip, and a boat trip on the Irrawaddy River. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset, as well as explore the lifestyle of the local residents.

Inle Lake – Warm Days, Cool Nights
February is the driest month of the year, with an average of 11 hours of sunshine per day, and it is warmer than January. The average temperatures for day and night are 29°C (84°F) and 11°C (52°F), respectively, so there is a big temperature difference between day and night.
At Inle Lake, you should visit Kakku Pagoda complex. Here, the beautiful landscape of age-old pagodas, huge trees and blue skies makes a perfect spot for photography. You can enjoy a special serenity and tranquility.
It's highly recommend to do some countryside sightseeing. In small countryside villages, locals live simple and self-sufficient lives. You can watch how farmers trade items in the local markets and enjoy shopping at Inle Lake.

Ngapali – Pleasant and Cozy
The average temperature in February is 27°C (81°F). The highest temperature is 37°C (98°F) while the lowest is 17°C (62°F). Almost all days in February are sunny.

Festivals in February
Mahamuni Temple Festival: This is convened in Mandalay. Monks read ancient Buddhist scriptures and offerings are made at the temple. In the evening, there are traditional performances.
Shwesattaw Pagoda Festival (Footprints of Buddha): This is a lively Buddhist pilgrimage and fair.
Mawtinsun Pagoda Festival: There are lots of activities during this time, such as food-selling and souvenir-selling.
